My brother gave this to me.  He found it in a garage sale.

     In its defense, it is built like a battleship: All metal, gray hammertone finish.  The only plastic is in the handle. 

     There is a roll-top type dial cover that flips down.  It covers the dial like a lizard eyelid.  The handle looks like rattlesnake rattles.

     Can you tell how I feel about this radio?
